{Currently Craving} 5 Trends To Love This Season

Neon makes me so excited. I love neon in the spring and summer months when the sun is out. It is so bright, and bold and adds so much excitement to any outfit. Plus, in these months where we are all getting tan, neon looks even better on!

Polkadots are a classic look that I don't think ever really goes out of style. The look of polkadots is just darling to me. It really classes up any outfit and adds instant youth and fun to any garment. I don't know if I will ever not love polkadots.
Mint is technically under the realm of pastel, but I think it deserves its own category. I am so in love with this color lately, Essie makes the perfect nail polish color, as does J Brand and J Crew for some fun colored denim. Although I didn't incude of a whole section on peplum, I am always looking for a good peplum skirt or top. So, this mint skirt with peplum detailing is gorgeous.
When I think fringe, I think Indian princess, bohemian, feathers, and turquoise. All of which I love, so I can't really find anything wrong witht his trend. I love these turquoise sandals with the extra fringe. The color is stunning and the fringe gives them a total boho chic feel.
Pastels are hot, hot, HOT this year. Everywhere I go I see pastel pants. I am definitely on this trends bandwagon. I just recently purchased a few pairs of pastel pants and am so in love. I wasn't as much into colored pants before the pastel trend hit, but pastel is so easy to wear and now I am obsessed.

Boho Chic

{Sandals:TJ Max}{Shorts: Forever 21}{Blouse: Old}{Hat: H&M}
Happy Thursday ladies! I am so excited that I got to wear some shorts, finally! There is nothing better than relaxing in the sun on a hot spring day. And let me tell you, relax is what I did. Coral is one hot color lately, and these shorts are some of my faves this season. They are a very comfortable fit, not to mention a gorgeous pink coral color. I went for a more boho look with the sheer top. I think my favorite part of this whole outfit is the fedora. I have never really found a fedora I love, but this one fits perfectly and the notical spriped ribbon detailing is adorable. Hope you all have a lovely Thursday!

This weekend was so unbelievably gorgeous. I spent as much time as I possibly could outside enjoying the much needed vitamin D. I love doing outfit posts when it is nice outside, and I am not freezing my butt off. Me and my friend Alyson, from Crushing on Clothes, had such a fun time taking pictures at a local high school. How gorgeous is this building? Definitely check out her blog if you haven't already!

A Vintage Feel

Something I am kind of obsessed with are black and white photos. The vintage look and feel of them are like a time capsule. Like vintage clothes, vintage pictures are just so elegant and glamorous. Even if the picture is not so much vintage, the black and white feel of it has me obsessed.

I have to admit, sometimes I will quite literally plan a entire outfit around one small thing. Today, for example, I wanted to wear these black ankle boots, and the rest was picked from there. I don't know if that is normal, but when I want to wear something I am going to wear it! I love this skirt, though, so I am happy it went with the shoes on this lovely spring day. They are so comfortable, I could wear them all day and not have my feet hurt. Which, these days, with that heel height, is not something for a designer to easily accomplish. Yay for sky high heels and fun patterned skirts.

Pastel Me Crazy

Here are the second pair of pastel pants I got this past weekend. The third pair was not available in my size in store, so I had to order them. I went with all pastel in this outfit. The yellow combined with the pale pink, peplum top make for a perfect match. I have to admit, my addiction to these pants is becoming out of control, I have a feeling they will be making many appearances throughout the spring and summer.
