{i can't contain my excitement: zara online ordering}

Okay, lets just start off by stating the obvious fact that I am beyond obsessed with Zara.
I was introduced to the store by my lovely ex-roomie in New York a couple of years ago, and lets just say it was love at first sight. I shopped there consistantly and probably neurotically for the summer I lived in NY. Then I came home...and it has been serious withdrawls ever since due to lack of stores in Washington and no online ordering.
BUT, fear not, because I have the best news since I heard Spice Girls were having a reunion tour...
You can now order Zara online in the US!! Well,  starting September 7th you can.
I don't really know if I can fully show my excitement and pure happiness through words, but let me tell you I did a happy dance for about 5 minutes straight (on the sidewalk) when I found out.
In anticipation for this miraculous event, which may be better than xmas morning for me, I have selected some of the items I know I will be ordering ASAP when September 7th finally rolls around.

It was really hard to pick only a few of my favorites, there are so many things I will be getting. I suggest everyone take a look here, and start planning their orders :) Enjoy!

{TGIF}

Happy Friday! It;s about time the week was over. I am dunzo with school for the next month and its beautiful in Seattle. Hello, summer vacay! In celebration of my extreme happiness that it is the weekend I decided to share some pictures that make me happy. No, none of these are mine personally. They were all found on tumblr, google, or other random places.
Enjoy...

Don't mind if I do...

Have a fabulous weekend! :)

{currently craving: a little YSL}

I know my love for bags is probably pretty obvious by now, but I just couldn't resist this one! A girl can dream, right?! I mean, I just don't know what I was craving before I saw this beauty by Yves Saint Laurent. I am literally obsessed. Everything in me wants to go splurge on this piece of art, but then I come zooming back to reality from my hour long day-dream about how good this would look with so many different things, and realize it just ain't gonna happen.
Ugh, I could drool over this all day. This, and Ryan Gosling, of course.
Anyways, this is my mid-week crave that I will be craving for a long time...hope you enjoy this eye candy as much as I do!

in the summertime, when the weather is hot..

Happy Tuesday! This weekend went by way too quickly for me, and then Monday came...and of course, in true Monday fashion, I had one million things to do! This week is going to be crazy (I am kind of pulling out my hair right now)!!! It is finals week for me, then I get a month vacation before fall classes start. I am so beyond words excited for classes to be dunzo! I want to take the month off from school and focus on blogging and relaxing. Anyways, this look is super simple and was inspired by the disgusting himidity that we experienced this weekend. It was way too hot for anything more than this bland, black cotton dress. I do have some fun posts coming, so stay tuned!

{summer storms}

The thing about Seattle is you never, ever, know what the weather will really be. The news never seems to be right, and we don't get a long, hot summer. BUT we take what we can get! The other day it started off cloudy with with feeling of rain, but turned into the kind of warm, sunny day that makes me remember why I love this city so much. I got this purple dress last year at Forever 21 and still love it. It is very sheer though, so the sweater helps with that. I love the look of the clouds in these pictures, the typical Seattle that I love!
Enjoy!

Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Sweater: Old
Necklace: Nordstrom
Belt: Old
Dress: Forever 21
Bag: Vitalio Vera-
I got this a long time ago as a gift and just recently rediscovered it

{currently craving}

These current craves are my latest obsessions. The J. Crew bag is probably my favorite item, I really can't stop thinking about it, like the can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars kind of thing....tell me I'm not the only one who loves It Takes Two..? Anyways, these are just a few of the things im day dreaming about!
Enjoy!

{a walk in the park}

(Shoes: old) (Jeans: Joe's) (Shirt: H&M) (Necklace: Nordstrom)

Happy Monday, hope you guys had a good weekend! I went for simple today. It was overcast and windy but also pretty humid. I love this red and white striped shirt matched with my army green cargo vest, but it was just too warm to wear the vest today. Long sleeves and jeans were just perfect. Sometimes I just don't feel like accessorizing (...is that really such a crime?) so I added just a gold necklace for a little something extra!

{current crave}

I am crushing hard on this Rebecca Minkoff  'Cupid' bag. Literally drooling over the perfection that was created. I love the royal blue, the gold detailing, everything. In-freaking-love.
I usually try to ask myself if my currently craving items are a want or a need...this definitely qualifies as a need in my book.

Enjoy this lovely eye candy!

{Rain can't scare the skirt out of me!}

Today was a weird day as far as weather goes. But really, when is it "normal" in Seattle? Yeah, never.
It looked like rain the whole day, except for a few sun breaks. You get used to expecting rain here, though, so it didn't scare me away from wearing a skirt!

Oh, Hi there!

Hello! So, im just going to jump right on into this. My name is Christina, currently a student living in Seattle doing my best to save money and not spend it all of the perfect shoe, bag or pair of jeans.
It's not easy, let me tell you.
I used to do ballet professionally and was lucky enough to live in San Fran and New York to pursue dance since I was 15. I love seeing what other people wear, its inspiring and refreshing from the usual magazines. Anyways, I decided it was time for a change, so I went back to school for interior design and then realized that my obsession with clothes is more than your average joe's.
So, I am starting this blog!
This blog is dedicated to everything I want but can't just go buy because I haven't won the lottery, and the last time I checked I was still a student....
Every person who loves shopping as much as I do knows that horrible feeling you get when you are seriously CRAVING that one piece of clothing that you just can't splurge on...yet!
Life can be so rough sometimes when you can't stop thinking about the dress you just had to try on, knowing you couldn't get it.
I don't know why we do this to ourselves, but I do it a lot.
If you can't relate to this feeling, thennnnnn I don't really know what to tell you because this blog is all about pretty things that I seemingly can't live without, and my personal wardrobe choices.
Hope you enjoy and I love to hear your feedback!

Christina
